Ross Gilbert possesses a multitude of skills when it comes to sales in general. In fact, he started his first business when he was only 15 years old. He continued his early career with two more start-ups before eventually getting into Retail Management. As the market began to shift, his cousin and mentor encouraged him to pursue Real Estate with him in Virginia.
Ross began his career in real estate in 2011 in Virginia where he helped grow the start up company’s inventory of managed homes from 50 to over 650 in under six years. During this time, Ross was instrumental in the development of all aspects of the company. He was responsible for Market Research, Sales Development as well as Sales Management. He had the opportunity to mentor and manage all new Sales hires, coming into the company. He scripted the on-boarding, developed the training manuals, optimized the use of various internet/broker platforms to reduce marketing expenses while maximizing lead generation for an overwhelming success, by bringing on over 700 new management units during his time with the company.
Ross currently serves as the Sales Director with Empire Industries, one of the fastest growing Property Management companies in the country. At Empire, he has managed to streamline systems, share his knowledge with his team of Business Development Managers and Supporting staff.
Ross epitomizes positive energy! He is a true team player, a strong communicator, is self-motivated, adaptable, a problem-solver, is creative and enjoys sales coaching and excels in his natural ability to create and build effective relationships.
When Ross is not working, which is rare! He enjoys time with his new puppy and also playing basketball with friends. He is an avid Houston Rockets fan, enjoys reggae music, kolaches and spending time with his extended family.
